Fred Wang is the CEO of Wilbur Tek, with decades of experience in the telecommunications and computer industries across both the U.S. and Canadian markets. A graduate of the Engineering Science at the University of British Columbia (UBC), and with a M.Sc. from Northeastern University, Fred has led transformative initiatives at top technology firms, driving innovation and the development of advanced communication systems.

With deep expertise in both markets, Fred has a keen understanding of the technological and business landscapes in North America. His leadership has consistently brought market-leading products to life, bridging cutting-edge technology with customer needs in diverse industries. Erik Li, Chief Technology Officer, Ph.D., P.ENG.

Dr. Li is the Chief Technology Officer at Wilbur Tek, where he leads the development of advanced intelligent systems. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Dr. Li has successfully launched multiple market-leading products in applied AI, industrial automation, and IOT systems, driving both innovation and revenue growth in the US, European and Asian markets.

A proven innovator, Dr. Li holds 133 patents and papers. He is renowned for his ability to align technical development with market needs, shaping product vision and strategy that accelerate adoption in industries such as robotics, e-Health, precision agriculture, manufacturing, smart homes, and logistics. Dr. Li has directed teams responsible for pioneering machine learning algorithms integrated into next-gen autonomous vehicles and robotics platforms. His leadership and vision have consistently positioned his products at the forefront of robotics and AI technologies, making a significant impact on both industry and society.

Dr. Li is a senior member of IEEE. Being an active contributor to IEEE standards and publication services, he is the co-author of IEEE 802.15 WPAN standard.

Dr. Li is also a Professor Adjunct at the University of Victoria, Canada. He keeps close cooperation with universities and academic research institutions.

James Li, Director, Product Research and Development

James Li is a seasoned Product R&D Director with a Computer Science degree from UCLA and 18 years of experience in Silicon Valley, including a successful tenure at Orange Labs. He is highly skilled in leading various domains of technology groups in computer engineering, communication, and medical and healthcare industry, with expertise in idea creation, concept-to-product design, cutting-edge research and development, advancing and blending extended reality (AR/VR/XR), AI, next-gen networking, cloud, edge, spatial computing, and robotics & automation.

Known for driving innovation and cutting-edge product development, James leverages a strong technical background and industry expertise to lead research and development teams in creating impactful, scalable products and solutions. With a track record of success in both technology hubs and global innovation labs, James excels in fostering collaboration, guiding product strategy, and delivering high-performance technologies that meet market demands.

Jacob Wu, Manager, Sales and Technical Support

A highly skilled Sales and Technical Support Engineer with a master’s degree in computer science at the New York Institute of Technology. Jacob has 10 years of experience in US and Canada in software application development and technical support in various industries including medical care, retail sales, and enterprise resource management.

With a strong foundation in both technical knowledge and customer relations, Jacob is experienced in explaining concepts and providing expert solutions to clients, bridging the gap between complex technical systems and customer needs. Jacob and his team are dedicated to ensuring smooth operations and satisfaction across all levels of support and sales processes.

With over 20 years’ experience, Mrs. Dong is a seasoned charted professional accountant (CPA) and is in charge of Wilbur Tek’s accounting and corporate finance.
